Nel and Jacques began Creative Abundance in 2004, primarily to help their daughter Rosalie Quinlan, reach a bigger market with her beautiful craft patterns. Their initial success encouraged Rosalie’s long time friend, Leanne Beasley, to join the family venture.
Creative Abundance’s prompt, reliable and friendly customer service, contributed to the rapid growth of the new venture. Jacques and Nel now distribute patterns for 12 Australian designers and sell their patterns and books all over the world. The growth of the business has enabled Nel and Jacques to provide work for many people and has also allowed them to generously support community development projects in Australia and a number of third world countries, including seeing wells and water pumps built in Cambodian villages, supporting a women’s sewing initiative for the disadvantaged, they also support various AIDS patients and their children.
Creative Abundance aims to be a market leader, providing the “crafters” of the world with high quality, Australian designed, fabric craft patterns and books. |
